When Hope could no longer have puppies, she was sold at auction by the owners of the puppy mill where she had spent her entire life locked in a cage. Rescued by Mary Scheffke of Chicago French Bulldog Rescue, Hope was found to have degenerative disk disease, which has left her paralysed. Thanks to physical therapy, Mary’s hard work and her mobility cart, Hope has not just survived, but thrived. Hope never allows her physical disability to get in the way of her spirit and joie de vivre.
